We all know theme parks projects that were announced and finally "never were", beginning by Disney's America, but Universal Studios Dubai is a bit different: the project was announced, a Universal Studios Dubai office opened, the works in Dubai desert began, and then everything was stopped!
In his new article on the Theme Park Guy web site Stefan Zwanzger shows pictures of this project, including the works in the desert and some renderings of how it would have been with a Jurassic park land, or a Sindbad area but also this interesting artwork showing a kind of Autopia with in the background a building which looks like the architecture of WDW Grand Floridian but only the roof!
