Will They Build at Disneyland Paris the New Peter Pan's Flight Stand By Queue Decor ?

This week-end, without any announcement, a great new addition opened at WDW Magic Kingdom Peter Pan's Flight. Now, WDW guests who are in the stand-by queue enter the Darling house and move through the kids room, a hallway, etc.. before embarking for the ride. It's a fantastic addition to one of the most beloved ride in Disney Parks history, and i let you first have a look at this Youtube slide show video below with pictures done by the Temporarytourist website who did a great pictorial article about it.

Looks great, isn't it? Now, my question - and yours, probably - is: will they built it at Disneyland Paris where, knowing that there is almost always a 45 min wait, it would be very welcome as it'll help to wait indoor instead than in the cold or rain which can happen quite often at DLP. But first let's have a look to see if they CAN do it, if they have the needed space to do it. Here is an official picture of DLP Peter Pan's Flight facade...

Now, if they build this new indoor termed queue decor it will be on the right of the building, so let's zoom...

Apparently it looks they should have the needed room but to make sure that we're right let's have a look from above thanks to this Google Earth 3D view...

If you click to enlarge the picture you'll see that they very probably DO have the room to add it, on the right of the entrance in the zone where you see the red and white umbrella ( circled in white ). And eventually they can take a bit on the space located on the right of it where there is outdoor tables and chairs for the Mr Toad restaurant ( circled in orange ) where there is rarely a lot of people. It's a bit up, not really on the same ground level, but that's no big of a deal for DLP Imagineers.

So, my guess is that, yes, they have the room to build it. Now, the other question is: will they DO it? It's always difficult to answer this kind of question with DLP as projects can change so quickly but if i remember it well i think i've heard recently that they're planning some attractions upgrades for DLP 25th Anniversary. And, knowing that Disneyland Anaheim will also have soon a Peter Pan's Flight upgrade with plenty of new projection effects my guess - and it' just my intuition - is that they WILL do it for DLP 25th Anniversary.

Another reason is because Peter Pan's Flight is one of DLP guests favorite ride, so always packed with most of the guests having to wait outside. And considering the long winter and freezing temperatures that can happen easily, more than any other Disney Park in the world DLP Peter Pan's Flight really need this addition. So, let's hope they'll be smart enough to do it!

Well if they do it that would also mean that in my opinion they should alter the ride as when you start the ride you first enter the Darling house.
Also they than need to relocate the Fastpass machines becasue they also are on that spot.

10 for effort... Although I fail to see how this queue is interactive?

It was rumored to be interactive but may be it was just a rumor... Interactivity or not, it's a nice pre-show before you board inside the flying ships / ride vehicles.

Quite nice. But this might have been donne to address the lack of outside theming to set the mood of the guests.
That's not the case in DL & DLP with beautifull buildings.

Although it's well done, it does come as after thought : as you stroll inside the house before re-rentering the house in the ride ?!...

As for DLP, the aera space is pretty crammed already. To cover & heat the queue would be a nice move. But I would rather put the bugdet on an udate of the ride.

@ Olaf: they have not done that in the US, and won´t to it at DLP. The first scene is so great, it would be a terrible idea to change it. In fact, I do feel that seeing the children´s bedroom in the queue takes away from the experience of the first scene of the actual ride. Overall, I´d say there are definitely more pressing issues at DLP than the PP queue.

Improving queues are always great initiatives in Disney Parks, as big lines are the only things that can spoil my day in them.

Peter Pan has always been one of my favorite Disney attractions, but I always thought that it is too much to line for over an hour (as it's often the case) for a less than three minutes long dark ride, so a nice queues is something even more important for all the Peter Pan's flight attractions; so yes, it would be great to have it also in Paris.

The only thing is that, like the others that have posted comments here, I found very strange to have another Darling children's room in the queue, being it the first scene of the attraction itself.

What they should have done was theme it as an outdoor view of a period London neighborhood leading up to the Darling's house.
Also -- if I recall correctly -- the Peter Pan movie alluded to horse and buggy transportation, hence there shouldn't be any tiny cars honking along the streets of London as seen from your flying Pirate ship overhead.
